Waited long for delivery even though it had been on its way for over half hr and maps said it’s an 11 minute drive, the free gift garlic bread was hard as a rock and the kebab wasn’t even something I’d feed to my cat, left me with terrible stomach pains afterwards too do not recommend , I had a kebab wrap and my partner had. After reading the reviews I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt but after beyond rude service over the phone when asking about my order and very disappointing food the reviews are there for a good reason. I phoned up to ask where my order was they asked for my postcode I spoke clearly and quite loudly but after saying my post code three times they hung up. I called another two times afterwards, both times it rang out, I then called one more time to be instantly cut off and assumingly my number was blocked as I couldn't call again. The food however has been quite frankly disappointing as the "chicken shawarma" is obviously boiled chicken just from the taste and pale appearance with next to nothing that makes shawarma what it is. The lamb donner wasn't awful but was far too chewy as if it had been left under a heat lamp for too long. The chips were beyond sub par as they were mushy yet somehow hard at the same time. The milkshakes I thought would be the redeeming factor however they had a powered texture and next to no flavour. Altogether Taste of Turkey would not be a place I would recommend unless you have more money than sense or taste.

This restaurant should be shut down as the food is awful. The “chicken kebab” was boiled not grilled, how it should be done. Disgusting! The food was cold and had no taste. DO NOT ORDER

I leave a message with the oder saying to call my phone when they are there he lied to me saying he rang my phone and it rang out my phone was right in front of me on the table I would of see it plus I had no miss calls 2 they leave the food on the door steps not even rang the bell nothing. I ordered 3 meals and all of then was greasy the food was shake up cold and missing 1 drink from the order probably that's why they just drop the food on the steps and go. When I notice the food was not here as yet I call the restaurant and ask them 1 time he said my food is outside on the steps and the driver left already know so post someone went with my food you guy would of don't care right you all is the worst service ever and I would not be ordering food from you again dirtynast amd wicked humans you guys are I will make sure everyone I kno knows about it

I ordered on Deliveroo but no surprise they actually removed this restaurant as they are so bad. I had a chicken shawarma wrap and I got sick afterwards. It just had lettuce and was covered in garlic mayo the naan was also as thin as. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
