Ordered thru just eat for delivery. Red thai curry, chicken balls and duck chow. Thai red was lovely, sauce gorgeous. The duck chow.... not so good, smelt very bad like had gone off. Duck qas very dry but whatever oil it's cooked with is rotten. The chicken balls were deep fried and hard to eat and the sweet n sour was... bland. In all, 30 quid spend is ridiculous for that quality. Lesson learned with this one, just eat reviews do not corrolate with reality. Will not be ordering again. DYOR. I wait the 'we report you to police for bad review' response from the owner lol.

I came across this establishment whilst browsing Just Eat. They struck out to me because they were the only ones doing 10% off when you spend over £30. Prices seemed very fair and they have a wide range of classic Chinese dishes to choose from. I placed my order, sat back and eagerly awaited for my food to arrive. Then suddenly panic hit me! I forgot to check the reviews of a new place before i order! I came on here and seen all the bad reviews and suddenly didn't have high hopes and my excitement turned into nerves, what if it is really bad? Is that lasagne in the fridge still OK to eat if all else fails? I awaited to see how this plays out. My order arrived very quick, around 25-30 minutes, awesome! I got the food to the dining room table and spread it out like a king. As I cracked open the lids steam escaped quicker then I could get in! Piping hot and the smell made me tingle inside! Firstly I cracked open the satey sauce and sweet & sour sauce, ripped open the chicken balls and little golden balls were sat there infront of me, they were amazingly crispy, they tasted like they were deep fried in clean oil and were the best chicken balls I can honeslty say I have ever had! Crispy on the outside but nice and moist on the inside, dipped into that homemade? Satey sauce. The reason I say homemade is because its not the normal generic satey sauce you get at 95% of other Chinese places. It wasn't as sweet but it was nice. The sweet and sour sauce as per other reviews is admittedly taste very strong of vinegar. The mains, I had chef special noodles with bbq sauce and nice chunky chunks of beef, chicken etc inside. Was lovely and I really enjoyed it! I also had shredded chicken with chilli and honey, that was very nice aswell, the chicken had a nice crunch and the flavour was spot on! My partner had egg fried rice and chicken curry. She said the flavour of the curry was one of the best she has ever eaten (it's the only thing she eats when we get Chinese so she is a Chinese chicken curry master, I would take this as a big win) She did the the chicken was abit too "slimey". Overall we were very happy with the food, a couple of small adjustments and I would of given a 5. I would definitely order from you again. Thank you for a pleasant experience

Food came very fast and was piping hot! Portion size is really good and taste fantastic. We tried many Chinese takeaways and this one is best one for sure.

Ok so this is the first time of ordered from here and to say I am disappointed is an understatement, the chilli beef is not beef!? The entire meal taste bland, greasy even prawn crackers are stale, sweet and sour sauce is very vinegary, my honest advice is find somewhere else to eat and enjoy your food, this is not a takeaway I would recommend to anyone totally disgusting avoid eating this slop!!

Ordered a chicken curry recently from Taste of Hong Kong and was really disappointed. The food smelt off and the food in general was very poor quality. Delivery was late however I cannot fault the driver as he was apologetic and very polite. I would not order from here again, very dissatisfied overall. Reply to your comment: Not that I should have to respond to you but my husband and I ordered from here about 2 weeks ago. I don’t want any money from you I am simply leaving a review as I am entitled to. Your customer service and people skills clearly need some work, how dare you publicly accuse me of lying. And how on earth can you say I didn’t order from you?! It was under my husbands name…

Me and my partner ordered yesterday and we are so disgusted in the quality of the meal. I nearly vomited at the smell of the food, the little chicken in the dish was definitely rotten. And on top of that the customer service is a joke, having a go at paying customers who are just after an average takeaway. How can a takeaway get such a easy order so wrong. Avoid at all costs, will be contacting environmental health to investigate rotten food!

Probably the most disgusting takeaway I’ve ever had, absolutely no taste of quality. Barely any chicken in the chicken dishes, sweet and sour sauce was an orange tinted water, egg fried rice with no egg, stale prawn crackers. The first time I’ve had to waste food and go make toast, highly disappointed and waste of money.

Amazing food and lovely staff. The tofu was the best - will be back soon for more! Our waitress also recommended the Ho Fun for us which was great!
