I had the most amazing dining experience at Taste of Afghan in Croydon. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with traditional Afghan decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The menu offered a wide range of authentic Afghan dishes, and the flavors were absolutely delightful. I highly recommend trying the mantu dumplings and the lamb kebab. The portions were generous, and the food was served hot and fresh. Overall, Taste of Afghan is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the true taste of Afghan cuisine. Parking: 30 mins free and then you only pay 0.20p for 30 mins

Finally an authentic curry place in south Croydon!!!! Was pleasantly surprised as this place is hidden on a side road. I only eat Afghani chapli kebab at Watan so had high expectations. They really did not disappoint! Kids had the grilled wings and they kindly exchanged the rice for chips which was nice of them. The mango lassi was lovely and fresh juices were a really nice touch. Desserts looked lovely but couldn’t fit in anymore ! I definitely will be back for the mixed grill and the curries next time ! Staff were really nice and polite, overall a lovely experience.

The Lassi drinks (mango and salted) were delicious but the mixed grill deal was rather poor; it was undercooked, overspiced and overpriced. Also, as a dining in experience it could be improved on.
