After our regular Chinese restaurant in Finchley Road closed down, my group of 4-5 friends began the search for a new spot for our weekly Wednesday get-togethers. Among the many options available, we settled on Taro because they were willing to accommodate us even after 10 pm. During our two visits, we decided to skip the sushi and opted for the main dishes instead. We tried the Chicken Ramen, Seafood Yakisoba, Chicken Katsu Curry, and Tempura Soba, and were not disappointed. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised by the speedy service at Taro. Our food arrived quickly, and the staff was attentive to our needs. In terms of taste, we all agreed that the dishes were fantastic. Even those among us who claimed to be knowledgeable about Japanese food had only good things to say about Taro. All in all, we were very pleased with our experience at Taro and will definitely be returning. It was refreshing to find a restaurant that offered such quality food and service at a reasonable price.
