  Don’t usually review negatively but, as I passed my number and name onto the manager to contact me and it never happened, this is my last resort. So we came in and everything was fine, we were seated and ordered drinks, one drink was missing but that wasn’t an issue at all, a waitress got our missing drink. We ordered food, four of us were eating, two members of our party received their food and was finished before the other two meals even came out, we waited 20 minutes, when our other two meals finally arrived we were missing three sides which we cancelled one side because the meal was finished so it was no longer needed, we received one side and then another side 15 minutes later, we had also asked for sauces which took 10 minutes to come, there were items missing off the meals which were mentioned on the menu. So after all this we asked the waiter if we could speak to the manager, which he told us the manager was not there and was in a meeting at 9pm on a Friday night, so there was no manager present on a Friday night, no supervisor, just 4 young staff members who were all lovely and helped as much as they could, felt sorry that they had to deal with this when it should have been a manager dealing with this, I left my name and number and was told I would be contacted the next day, which I wasn’t so I had to resort to this, such a shame that this couldn’t have be resolved another way, manager clearly can’t deal with complaints, food was lovely, definitely will not be returning, hoping the manager forgot to contact me rather than just ignoring it.

  Apparently under new management but it looked like the same owner to me? Staff are friendly and they make good cocktails. The toilets need checking regularly as strangely both male and female ones can be quite grim (even early on in the evening) New menu with a lot more choice and they cater for most people. Unfortunately although I specifically asked for no beans because I react badly to them my dish did have them in. Fortunately I spotted them and they did replace my meal and took it off the bill. Overall the food was good although the sharing nachos at £10 were rather sparse and one meal was too salty for her palate but she said the steak was good and cooked well. I loved my king prawn burrito with salad and coleslaw but the plain tortilla chips with no dip were unnecessary in my opinion. The waitress Jess was very efficient and helpful. Overall a good night, just a few tweaks needed to improve the overall experience. Well done to the kitchen staff for working in extreme heat ♨️🌡️🌶️🔥

  I have had a couple of takeaway burritos from taquitos, and whilst I consider it to be quite overpriced for what you get the food was nice. Last night was my first dine in experience and it wasn't a good one. The food took far too long to come, we missed another booking we had and had to chase the food, the service was a bit slow and at times confused (assuming new staff) and the food was disappointing. The loaded fries were very tasty, quesadilla was average (no pickled pink onion just quite large chunks of red onion) but the chicken tacos were inedible. They were loaded full of rocket (which has no place in a Mexican taco) so when you bit into it the overpowering rocket and coriander was the only thing you could taste. I scraped the chicken off the top but unfortunately was stabbed in the roof of my mouth by a large bone. I had asked for corn tacos as I avoid wheat and told this was fine but instead I was given GF tortillas which were basically cardboard. The waitress was polite and took the tacos off the bill, the owner (or at very least manager) was sat in the restaurant doing some work and in my opinion if you knew someone was having such a bad experience in your restaurant you would go over and apologise.
