It was a bit of a hit and miss with the experience at this establishment. Some staff were really nice, kind and attentive, but one particular one, complete utter pain. Considering it was 24th Oct, so quite cold and the fact that we were placed meters away from the door and after mentioning several times we were cold and if they could close the door, this particular incompetent lady working behind the bar kept opening the door. Which part of we are cold, she didn't get I am not sure, but it really dampened our experience here and honestly I don't think I will be back any time soon. Other than that, the food was nice and the place seemed nice and clean.

The prices here are unfair, it's a shame as I have eaten at the one in Bluewater in the past and was happy. The idea of tapas is small plates of food usually with an accompanying drink, it defeats the point if they are around eight pounds each. It is not practical to expect people to spend this much on a meal and clearly this place won't last like other unrealistic places. Hopefully some more reasonable tapas places open in Essex as there is a gap in the market for them. I have seen reviews on here of people saying it's quite reasonable whilst paying 70-80 pounds for lunch, this is deluded, clearly no sense of the value of money. If people pay these over inflated prices it ruins it for everyone else and allows businesses to rip off customers, if no one paid ridiculous prices they would be lowered. Parking: There is parking but it should be free

Three of us went to dinner on Saturday evening and from the beginning it was a negative experience. They had limited options for soft drinks and were rude from the beginning. Our waitress took our order of 9 items and did not take our order down and appeared to have memorised our order. We waited 35 minutes for our starter to arrive which was served to us along with 3 other dishes. We waited 10 minutes for the remainder of our food to arrive but it didn’t. I asked our waitress if our order could be chased up and we waited a further 15 minutes for 2 more items to arrive so it was clear our waitress had not memorised our full order and it was now having to be cooked. One of my family members was still waiting for their main fish to arrive after an hour of placing our order. I spoke to the duty manager to express how appalling the service had been and what had happened and she confirmed the waitress had failed to memorise our full order and had only relayed half of it to the kitchen and the remainder of our order was currently being cooked. An awful dining experience and 3 people left hungry all because a waitress wanted to appear good at her job which is the opposite of the experience. We will not be returning or recommending Tapas Revolution to anyone.
