Visited a couple of times in April and enjoyed most of the menu (meaning that we tried most of the menu, not that some of it wasn't good). Great beer, wine and music (not too loud). V tasty and good value. Stand-out dishes were the sardines, jamon iberico, kale and veggie albondigas. Order 2-3 plates each first and see how you get on x

(Translated by Google) Spanish people, I wouldn't go if you were. English people, neither do I than you. Here we go: £7.50 for three ham croquettes, £26 for a liter jug of sangria, £16 for sirloin as main although the portion was 6 counted bites that seemed like a starter if that, a robbery. The prawns are somewhat expensive (£12) but good, the omelette is the best for £6.50. The £6.50 Santiago cake is not Santiago cake, the £7.50 cheesecake is fine. £4.50 per loaf? Wow. Next time I'm going with my cousin to Duck and Waffle, which was cheaper for her there today. £50 per person, when I think that for what we have ordered they should charge around £30. The service was friendly at least, but come on, it's not worth it in my opinion.

Food was great although portions on the smaller side , service was appalling. We arrived at 8.50pm and got sat by the open kitchen towards the back of the restaurant. We kept being constantly interrupted by staff asking the same questions multiple times (eg whether we want desert). When we asked for the bill that was approx. £67.54, and asked to split it in two, the waitress advised that she would be rounding this up to £68 as it’s easier for her to calculate, which isn’t really acceptable but we were not really given an option . Upon paying, the waitress came back saying that she undercharged us by 2 pounds (rounding up the total yet again). At this point probably we should have asked to speak to management but paid yet again. No more than 5 mins later, at 21.50/55, a different waitress approached us and the table next to us, whilst considering ordering drinks, to say that we would have to leave our table (just 1h after our arrival) as she would need to start cleaning the area we were sat at, and advising that if we wish to stay longer we should move to the front of the restaurant. If this was standard practice, we should have been sat at the front of the restaurant where plenty of tables were empty at the time of arrival. Really disappointed and would think twice before coming back.
