  We travelled with Tanzania Odyssey to 4 lodges/ camps - & Beyond Legendary Lodge in Arusha, &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas, Asilia Namiri Plains in the Serengeti, and &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater. Overall, the trip far exceeded our expectations - logistics were seamless from the point we landed in Nigeria, the camps and lodges were extremely luxurious despite the remote locations, the food was excellent , and the game viewing was incredible. Everything was very well organized in terms of logistics from the time we were met in Arusha - transfers from camps to airports were very well easy and comfortable out and we were plied with drinks, coffee and cookies everywhere we landed . The "tents" would have been rather luxurious anywhere , but especially given the remote locations. There were elaborate 3/4 breakfasts and lunches with wine in the middle of the Serengeti , sundowners in the evening and delicious meals ( lamb curry, steak, vegetable curries , chocolate souffles ) paired with wine and cocktails for dinner. Game viewing was incredible - a pride of lions at a kill , a mother cheetah with cubs, elephants crossing the road in front of our jeep in the Ngorongoro crater for example. Watching a Wildebeest crossing with crocodiles in the water was a particular highlight . And the landscape makes you feel you are on a different planet! The Tanzania Odyssey team including Dave in particular did a great job of walking us through the options and helping stitch together the itinerary. Extremely flexible and responsive to changes. Overall, would definitely recommend!

  Fantastic service from our initial enquiry to our return home provided by Tanzania Odyssey. After checking out local African travel companies here in Australia and then the internet, we were lucky to come across Tanzania Odyssey as they made our trip unique. They listened to what we wanted to do as well as gave us alternatives to consider. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always available. A great team to deal with. Traveling in a small group of initially 7, then 6 and then splitting off into 2 groups heading off in different directions involved a lot of organizing on their part and they didn't disappoint. We all enjoyed our African experience; from gorillas in Rwanda, 3 different Safari areas in Tanzania (Serengeti, Lake Manyara & Ngorogoro Crater and Ruaha national park), 2 Safari camps in Botswana (Shinde and Liyanti), Zanzibar and finally Victoria Falls. So much to see and the wildlife and birds were truly amazing to see in the wild. Hope to go again and would definitely be looking to book again through the team at Tanzania Odsessy.

  Dave and the crew at Tanzania Odyssey were referred to me by a colleague and I can't imagine working with anyone better. Dave was super responsive from my very first email and provided a ton of information. He also took the time to ask what kind of experience we were looking for and tailor our planning based on that. We assumed we wanted to visit the Serengeti, but we didn't know enough about the region to have our heart set on it. Dave offered some compelling information about the Selous and we were sold. We stayed at Beho Beho camp for four nights and we were so sad to leave. I wish we had a couple more days. The safari experience was incredible and the hospitality was unbeatable. They think of everything at Beho Beho and the days are structured in a way that you don't have to think about a thing, just follow their lead because they know exactly how to do. It was so relaxing to know that your time will be will spent and maximized but you won't feel rushed or stressed or tired. We saw amazing game, including spending about an hour with a pride of six lions just my husband, me, and our guide. Literally surrounded by lions. And the sight of five elephants walking in the valley below our banda in the afternoon was so beautiful. The food is the best I've ever had and every meal is in a new, beautiful spot on the camp. They take care of you in every way and it's an all-around magical experience. We ended our trip with four days at Xanadu Villas in Zanzibar. It is a very luxurious, very secluded resort. It's a quiet and peaceful spot and you can either spend your time there re-charging or seek adventure outside the resort. We took some kite surfing lessons at Paje Beach about 10 minutes away and Xanadu booked us a car and packed us a lunch. Meals are prepared just for you and since it's so small the variety is limited, but it's really tasty. The grounds of the resort are beautiful, the villas are enormous and so high end. The beach is immaculate and basically empty as there are no resorts to either side. If we return to Africa, which we hope we will, I will immediately contact Dave again. The bush flights and all details were done for us and it made the trip all the more enjoyable. Thank you/
