Attended the museum over the weekend for the model show. We were in early with some stands still setting up, but looked well attended by various model clubs with plenty of models to look at. The museum itself is smaller than many other aviation museums I've been to but has a good collection of locally sourced exhibit's. The cafe does some great cakes and a variety of other fare, but it is a bit pricey. What let it down in my review was a member of staff bawling out a stall holder in front of everyone, just because he placed a model kit in front of a large television. Not only was this public display of aggression uncalled for it was totally unprofessional. No wonder the stallholder said he won't be coming back again. Also the entry fee of £11 per adult was a bit steep, for a museum that could be done in a morning, if you read everything. Apart from that one member of staff , all the others were friendly and helpful. Sorry guys but you need to get rid of that person, the power has gone right to his head. If that had been me, he would of recieved a totally different response.
