We found this restaurant while wandering through Yeovil on a Friday evening. Although we didn't have a reservation they found us a table. The staff are lovely: polite, friendly and efficient. There were a lot of people who are obviously regulars. We had starters and mains. The starters were great. They were an aubergine dish and a 'sandwich' style with gorgeous bread, salami and mozzarella. Our mains were equally delicious. Mine involved a creamy sauce with sausage and spinach and the other was pasta with chicken and prawns in a creamy tomato sauce. There was plenty of food and we didn't have room for dessert. The wine was very drinkable and our coffees were very smooth. So often coffee let's a meal down but these really didn't. Thoroughly recommend Tamburino. If I'm ever in Yeovil again I will definitely revisit.
