We found out about Talking Labs online, and after reading some amazing reviews decided to book an assessment with Lucy for our 2.5 year old. She was absolutely brilliant, the way she interacted with our child to assess their speech and understanding was fantastic. Lucy provided us with the necessary information and tools to help our child’s progression, during the assessment, so we could start right away whilst waiting for the formal report. Would highly recommend, and should we need to know we can contact any time to further discuss our child’s speech and language development.

We had 1 session with Lucy, we came away with so much knowledge and insight which will greatly help us with our daughter who has some delays but also when communicating with our baby who doesnt have any delays. We found it invaluable, in a lovely calm setting, Lucy was great with us and our daughter (who's is usually wary at medical appointments/ of unfamiliar people) really enjoyed our session and spoke about it all the way home. We have already started to notice a difference in both our skills and our daughters. We totally recommend using Talking Lab.

I had been feeling anxious for a while over my sons speech delay and decided to get in contact with Lucy, as I know the NHS waiting list can be lengthy. I'm so so glad I did as both my boyfriend and I walked out of our initial session feeling like a weight had been completely lifted off our shoulders, equipped with strategies to use with our son. Lucy was fantastic, I felt like she really took her time during the assessment to properly get to know our son and listen to our concerns. Once the assessment was finished she gave us her diagnosis straight away which then was followed by a written up report that we have been able to share with his nursery. Anyone who is debating getting in contact with Lucy at Talking Lab please do, I wish I had done it sooner instead of anxious googling!!

Lucy was able to ease the concerns I had about my sons speech and also give me lots of helpful techniques to help further develop his speech and also his play, which are working already.
