Talking Hands Academy is a Liverpool-based independent business run by Deaf people. They run many different British Sign Language (BSL) Courses ranging from Level 1 – 6 and also provide training to organisations on matters such as Deaf Awareness. Talking Hands Academy is committed to teaching its students so they may interact in the UK’s thriving Deaf communities. I started a BSL Level 2 course with THA in 2007 and cannot recommend their training highly enough. The quality of delivery, professional standards and the friendly learning atmosphere at the academy has encouraged me to progress with my studies, right through to completing L6 & interpreter training. Talking Hands Academy also deliver professional Communication Services, providing registered BSL Interpreters, Notetakers, Deaf (Relay) Intepreters, Deaf Blind Interpreters, Lip Speakers, Palantypists to work in any setting. Whether you are an individual with an initial interest in British Sign Language or a national organisation with a large staff team requiring training, I whole-heartedly recommend Talking Hands Academy to you.
