Jazmine who looked after our case was amazing from the moment we instructed to the end of the sale, she was always quick to respond to any queries we had, she kept us updated and her and the whole team have been a massive breath of fresh air to us after a few bad experiences with solicitors, Talbots have definitely restored our confidence in the legal teams when buying a new house and these will hopefully be our solicitors in the future, we would strongly recommend, refer and use again! My husband and I regrettably give their services a one star. We were recommended Talbots Law through William H Brown Ipswich East for purchasing a property and we were met with poor competence and management. Firstly, incompetence. We flagged up an error in a document with the page number, to which the response was 'can you tell us where is the mistake?', to which I had to screen shot and circle on the page number which was mentioned. Secondly, the online Home Conveyancing Survey platform told us that we had everything in order and good to go. We had to hear from our developers that their solicitors said we had missing documents. Thirdly, we don't mind the delays but please do it properly. At the very least we made the purchase so that's the very minimum we could hope for. We hope things improve and change for the better. We had heard our neighbours had difficulty with Talbots Law as well so that wasn't very encouraging.

They indirectly paid for our use of their service in the form of a recommendation from our estate agent in return for a kickback. Progress painfully slow so far. If your trainee conveyancing executives cannot keep up with their workload, stop paying for more work - your reputation will suffer as a result. We have contacted the estate agent about our experience on their recommendation already. I will update this review with details after we complete - we hope there is an improvement.
