Had the best experience possible at the Talbot medical centre today. Both receptionists were lovely from the minute I walked in, and the Doctor who saw me was absolutely brilliant! He listened to all my concerns with my health and took the time to listen and reassure me, truly amazing doctor!

I've got numbness in my hands and feet, pain in my leg, both can be attributed to some major issues from what I've read online I try for weeks and weeks to get an appointment and there is never one with the doctor I have been discussing this with, who is familiar with this case as she's checked for diabetes and my carpol tunnel has cleared up I go in and ask if there's any appointments again and the receptionist shakes her head, so I leave then she tells me to stay while she checks She already shock her head, either she knows or she dont Last time I was in there they said they had a four week waiting list , emergency surgery can open do so much Why would I stay Sorry this surgery has gone down hill and giving 1 star is generous at that Why don't you get a light up sign on the door that you turn on when you actually have an appointment available, it would help and stop wasting patients time It's certainly more efficient then trying to phone you which you can be on the phone for 30minute on hold at least just to be hung up on when they say they can't hear you because of useless technology like digital talk on phones I've been with this surgery 20years, I'm no longer angry, I'm apathetic, I could drop dead and it would be all there fault and they wouldn't be held responsible even thou they would be as you can never see them

I just moved to area. And signed up with the medical centre. Am also ex army which I think this medical center has went over and beyond to support me. Dr Holmes who will be seeing from now on is lovely gentleman and made me feel at ease when I was talking to him. Highly recommended this surgery even for veterans if you need help sign up here

I am suffering from a very nasty bug - but a minor problem in the scheme of things. I rang the surgery re the possibility of anti-nausea tablets, and all concerned were very courteous, though they do not issue these too soon in the course of the bug.. When I got to the point of not being able to keep water down, I received a swift home visit, and the tablets. Am now recovering, and am very impressed by the kindness and efficiency with which I was treated, given the enormous pressures Doctors and surgeries are undergoing - and knowing, from with in my own family, the very serious conditions they have to deal with
