Whilst I read many reviews on this place I was so disappointed. I came here many years ago and it was lovely. Now it is just a dated, grubby place. The food had no taste and really I didn't even have a clue what I was eating...whilst the service is fair and humorous it doesn't make up for poor quality food. We won't be back. We had a beautiful Indian from Staplehurst 3 days later, jumeira it was astounding. So save your money and order from Staplehurst or better still go there.

We went away for the weekend and thought we would try Taj. Unfortunately it was disappointing...the curry was watery, we did not receive our onion bhajis and the curry we got was tasteless. Chicken tikka korma did not taste like usual very bland and the Dansak was tasteless as well. My container was half full with five bits of chicken in, the chicken pieces were small.

We broke down near their restaurant and despite being closed they gave us coffee to keep us warm and eventually let us inside and fed us while we waited for someone to pick us up. The owner wouldn't even accept a tenner for everything he did. Very lovely people, couldn't recommend them enough if you want top tier customer service ❤️

Always great whether its a takeaway or dine in. Staff offer a great service and do their best to make sure you have a good experience. Parking: There is a car park round the back with approximately 8 spots. There is also a free public car park a 2 minute walk away.
