We saw a fantastic review on Facebook and thought we had to try it for ourselves. First time eating here under new management as well as being in the building itself. I cannot fault the staff. Warm and welcoming and the food was delicious, so much of it, that it’s being taken home. Was my partners birthday and they went out of their way to get a cupcake and candle for her. Will definitely be back again as a pair or with a group. The atmosphere was lovely. Everyone served with a smile ☺️ Parking: Behind the restaurant.

Made the same order that we thoroughly enjoyed several times before under the Taj Mahal, but was very disappointed with the food this time, lacked taste and not a lot of meat in the dishes just all onions. I will be finding another local Indian takeaway

Nothing special korma was very very creamy. Lamb dish was all source and 4 bits of lamb. Momo was nice. We got given the wrong rice. Naan bread was little under done. All in all an average meal. But definitely not the worse in Braintree would maybe give a second chance.

Under new management so went on opening week. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Food delicious, tried some authentic Nepalese cuisines. freshly cooked, service quick, prices reasonable. Would recommend.

Rude staff ! Straight from being seated there was clearly an issue , we were asked within minutes of being seated what we would like to order we said we was not ready , finally the waitress came back to take our order but was very rude and the facial expression expressed this clearly , when asked was there an issue she replied that the take out orders didn’t have time to wait and they were to busy to wait for our order ! If that’s the case they should not be offering a dine in service . I will not be returning again.

Feeling very disappointed. We decided to take friends here for a meal as we are loyal customers and normally have a great experience, however this time was completely different, Staff extremely rude and unprofessional. This created a very awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere, which was highly embarrassing, especially considering it was our friends first time, and was based on our recommendation. We asked to see the manager who did not come out to see us. Based on this experience we will not be returning or recommending!
