This was our first family holiday and after being nervous about finding somewhere great for kids, whilst clean and modern I was so happy to find Beech Farm! The cottage we stayed in was super child friendly and clean ++ There was a trampoline and play park outdoors for the children, a brilliant indoor playroom for children with so much to choose from, an on site 'tuck shop' (sold things like ice cream, frozen pain au choc (yay!!!) Crisps, pasta, baby food etc and was super handy. One thing I really loved was that each cottage had a rota for an hours private swim in indoor heated swimming pool daily. Then a communal hour at the end of the day. It was so great having the pool to yourself and was a big bonus for us! Oh and you can also feed the goats and bunnies 🐰!

We stayed at Bracken Brow in October and had a wonderful stay. It’s ideally located for trips to the coast (Scarborough and Whitby) but also Pickering and lots of other nice spots. But best of all it’s amazingly equipped especially for families. Our 2.5 year old loved the play room which is brilliantly stocked, feeding the animals each morning and having afternoon swims. The cottage itself was lovely and had all we needed. We would highly recommend a stay here for anyone with children looking to explore this part of Yorkshire and we will be back to stay again soon.

We've just returned from a 2nd, lovely stay in Dove Tree Cottage at Beech Farm. Hoping very much to book another stay in 2023. If you are looking for a break in a spotless, well-equipped and comfortable cottage, with friendly hosts in a beautiful part part of the world, then this is for you. Our 16 year old son loves it too but how much do we wish we'd known about this place when he was little?! Ideal place for a family holiday.

We had the most amazing stay at Beech Farm over the summer holidays with our 5yr old, 2yr old & 10 month old. Our cottage was great, well laid out and with lovely decor, spotlessly clean, and with everything we needed for the baby. Pool is fab, kids loved it. Playroom is incredible- so much to keep the little ones entertained. They loved the animal feeding & mower rides. I can't rate this place highly enough, I never leave reviews but felt I had to on this occasion. Nothing was too much for Graham and Kirsty- they helped me organise balloons for my son's second birthday and even took in a delivery for me before we even arrived. Wonderful area, loads to do. Everyone loved it from the 10m old to the 67 year old. We'll be back!

I would highly recommend Beech Farm cottages. Me and my 2 children (10 and 12) had such a lovely, relaxing time away. Great facilities for the kids... Table tennis table, playground, trampoline, swimming pool and of course, fantastic interaction with the farm animals. Cottage was homely, clean and fantastically equipped. Well stocked shop with honesty box. Kirsty and Graham were so friendly and accomadating and on hand for all questions! We'll be back as soon as we can xxx
