I have been a regular customer of Tabio socks while living in Japan. I was happy to visit their store in London. They are known for their interesting designs. Their socks are comfortable, light, and breathable. Also, the texture is smooth. Some socks are made of thin material hence you may expect them to wear off after few washes.

Throughout the years and ever since I’ve a customer at Tabio (Covent Garden) – I have always found all the retail staff to be incredibly rude and extremely hostile. In regards to the quality of Tabio socks, I’m afraid they seem to fall apart after nine months to one year, so therefore Tabio socks are not built to last as long as you’d think, considering that they are very pricy. My advice, if you’re looking for decent socks that are somewhat made and built to last longer than usual, then do try a brand called, Smartwool® in fact you can get Smartwool® from Ellis Bringham and the retail staff at Ellis Bringham are much nicer than Tabio.

Boy working in this shop explicitly accused me of stealing when I put my phone in my pocket, confronted me very rudely about it repeatedly saying he saw me put socks in my pocket and demanding to see what I had in there, then when I showed him that I had only my phone in my pocket he straight up refused to apologise for accusing me and blatantly lied to my face saying that he had not accused me of anything and was simply asking me what was in my pocket, after repeatedly lying and refusing to apologise he eventually did but only after having to ask him to do so probably 6/7 times, and even in this he made a comment about how it was nothing to do with how I’m dressed or how I look, but who is talking about how I am dressed and how I look? Only you, so clearly it does have something to with it. I understand people can make mistakes and all that was needed was a simple apology and acknowledgment of your mistake to diffuse the situation, instead this rude person created this very embarrassing, stressful and disrespectful scene, he needs to learn basic manners and decency. I will never be coming back.

I would give 0 star if I can. I placed an order 2 weeks ago and I didn’t receive anything. Customer service is awful and they barely replied. I request refund but no one is available to help.

Really lovely kind and helpful staff - had a pair of socks embroidered as a Father's Day present, was well done and ready in half an hour. Bought myself a pair of tabi socks that are super comfy. Very good quality and will definitely be buying more!
