Wouldn’t give it the 1-star but that’s minimum unfortunately. My main came before my starter, by the time i finished my starter (chicken wings) which were not bad, but not worth £5+ for 5 wings, which had no flavour besides some salt, the main which was shawarma which felt like i was chewing rubber or gnawing wood, impossible to get down my throat in a chewed state was cold when i got to it. Frozen cold. For £14.

Really disappointed in our New Years’ Eve meal yesterday. We ordered an array of Lebanese mezze and kebab mains, coming to a total of approx £130. We’re a family of Lebanese descent, and we were disappointed with the tabbouleh - a staple Lebanese dish. We fed back it was dry with no lemon juice. A tabbouleh dish should be swimming in lemon juice. No apologies were given, but the dish was “upgraded” with minimal further lemon juice. It was still disappointing, but at least there was a response from the waiter. Secondly, and much more disappointing was the kibbe, which we fed back was rotten/off. This is simply not acceptable for a restaurant to serve off meat. There was zero apologies given with the waiter not caring and not even offering a refund, the simple feedback from the waiter was that the kibbe won’t be as fresh as homemade kibbe. That’s completely understandable, but still no excuse for off/rotten meat to be served! All in all not authentic tabbouleh, off kibbe and no smiles or care from the waiters on New Year’s Eve. Paid a bill of £130, not even an offer taking anything off the bill or any remorse. I wouldn’t have written this review if our concerns were dealt with by the waiter at the time, hopefully this will make diners aware of the standards of the restaurant, with the owners hopefully addressing the concerns of our visit.
