I've used Symonds Yat Canoe Hire several times, usually for the half day but I've done the full day hire too. The staff take you up the river and drop you off with your canoe in their minibus and you canoe downstream back to their base. The half day is 7.5 miles and the full day is 15 miles (but it doesn't feel this long when you're on the river). The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed!
