I walked 15 minutes with my friends for one of their birthdays and we were all nicely dressed and we walked through the line to go in and I got told I couldn’t go in because I was wearing “trackies” even though my parachute pants were far from it, the material etc and everything did not give trackies one bit. The bouncer was rude and mean and so was the girl one. They separated me on my own a small young girl who looks easily vulnerable from my whole group of friends which were boys and girls to go my separate way at night. Absolutely terrible I offered for the bouncer to feel my parachute pants and that I would show him where I brought them from and what the name was on the website and he wouldn’t have it. Terrible bouncers, terrible service.

Went to the Louis Cole gig tonight. Maybe my favourite artist of the last 5 years. So quiet and limp it was like I was listening to the YouTube song on a speaker from the next room. After the ticket and drinks cost I expected much better. Imagine giving only 1 overhead drum mic on the drums when the main act is one of the best drummers in the world right now. I've heard small local venue bands with MUCH better sound.
