I was pleased to a point where I was happy again, having a large fling site, Every flight is a challenge where you can explore your skills doing rolls, loops, bunts stall turns and of course landing. Then after all that excitement there are your companions that you can only find in a club like ours.

The Swindon Model Aero club has been going for 85 years and has a great site at Sandhill Shriveham with over 50 friendly members. The grass runway is long and well tended and can accommodate large models. Over the summer months fun fly competitions are held and food and drink provided. During the winter months social evenings are held at a local community centre, which include talks, videos, table top sales and buildings sessions. If you are an experienced flyer or looking to start out flying model aircraft this is the club to join.
