This council is quick enough to put rents up and take our money but when it comes to maintenance it's like flogging a dead horse. My back garden fence needs to be repaired this has been pending for well over a year due to back log. I were told they were getting contractors in to do the job. I had the inspector out last year who raised the job. I were told the job would commence today between 8 - 4. Two very nice guys came out at 12.45 not to do the wretched job but to inspect it ! How many times do they need to look before the repair takes place is beyond me ? I would have thought it in their interest to maintain properties. I have had email after email with regard this job and now despair.

What an absolute shambles this organisation is. They have recently brought my business to the brink of collapse for the second time in 4 years. First time they made a unilateral decision without consultation that caused a 41% drop in our turnover. Then at the beginning of this month they stole cash from my business by taking money from us by Direct Debit that they weren't entitled too. It caused us to go insolvent. We eventually got the money back from the bank after the bank agreed that the council had defrauded us. And now they won't even talk to us about it. Appalling!!!

They demanded I supply 3 months of bank statements for proof of id. I was unable to stay awake so couldn't take it into offices. A member of staff had to take them in. I hope that they realised that I'm a white male, of British nationality. If I'm ever recalled to the reserves, or uni. I'll send one of the care staff to do whatever!
