I recently enrolled my child in swimming lessons at Swimstars swimming school (November, 2022) but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the overall experience. My child did not receive the individual attention or feedback necessary to make significant progress in his swimming abilities. As a result, I am writing this review that I feel is worth sharing with other parents. I believe that my experience could be helpful to others who are considering using your services and I would like to provide an honest and objective assessment of my experience. By sharing my feedback, I hope to help other parents make informed decisions about enrolling their children at your swimming school. To dive deep, my son had first his trial session, which he finished with a very positive feedback and excitement looking forward to more swimming lessons to come. Afterwards, things did not go as anticipated; His teacher Taylor started exhibiting less enthusiasm and patience during the lessons. Unlike the trial session which was an interactive learning lesson, the following lessons were not. My son was very keen to attend his swimming lessons but Taylor couldn't embrace his enthusiasm and direct it in a way that made my son follow his instructions. Instead, he treated him unprofessionally by being less patient and showing less collaboration and less flexibility to accommodate for my child’s needs and skills. Moreover, my husband joined us for the third lesson to aid myself in assessing the situation objectively. He witnessed how unprofessional Taylor was and that he lacked the skills to deal with my son. A lack of communication was significantly observed; the instructor did not provide clear instructions or feedback to my son. He would often use vague or confusing (sometimes threatening) language, which made it difficult for my child to understand what was expected of him. Taylor killed my son's spirit, and we are still suffering from the consequences of those three sessions. My boy had nightmares and didn't want to go to swimming lessons anymore. I spoke to Amiee and explained everything, and she moved my son to another class as I didn't feel safe letting this teacher be around my son anymore. Amiee saw how much my son was struggling to get into the water. Although he sometimes got into the water, other times he refused because he remembered what happened. As a result, we missed several sessions, and even in our last month, we only attended once, but my son refused to get into the water, so we left without having our lesson. In summary, I am firmly confident to say :”I do not recommend @SwimStars swimming school”.
