Wet and cold when we went. Be mindful of going down the long track coming off the main road, go slowly and carefully as there is no lighting and you could miss the signs to the car park. Have wellingtons or waterproof boots due to muddiness and wrap yourself up well. Great for children who like the outdoors. Firepit at the halfway mark for the kids to roast a marshmallow. Hot and cold drinks with pizza or pie. The pizza was delicous and reasonably priced.

I've been for the first time with my 11-year old, who's just started out fishing. Helpful staff, beautiful site, no rubbish anywhere. We fished on two of the lakes, caught a nice variety of silvers on both. Definitely returning!
