Swift completed the conveyancing for my home in 2016. I had a 5 year fixed rate mortgage and in 2021 I was in the process of switching lenders when I found out there had been in error in the transfer of the lease to my property and Land Registry. I notified Swift who initially attempted to resolve it with the previous owners solicitors. When the errors could not be resolved they just ignored me and refused to send me a copy of my conveyancing file. This led to two years of heartache and unnecessary expense. I find it truly despicable that they wouldn’t return my file which may have helped me resolve the errors. I had to resort to instructing another solicitor to rectify the issue at considerable expense. In January 2023 I was awarded £16,078.73 default judgement for the costs I incurred as a result of the errors. I don’t where the positive reviews come from but there is a Facebook page titled “Not so Swift Lawyers”, ask yourself why they have not responded to any of the negative ... Read more

If there is no star review probably it will be too generous for this whatever you call it but law firm. Bad service, the worst communication ever. I started the process on the 11th of Feb 2022, and after almost a year and half still hasn't been finished. the mortgage went through but the land registry hasn't been updated and also a few other thing. i hope my review was helpful. For God sake do let your self foul by them.

I cannot begin to tell you what a complete joke this company is. Avoid them at all costs. I wish I could give them 0 stars, as they do not deserve more than that. They almost cost both the seller and myself the sale of the property. My mortgage offer expired and they had still not resolved outstanding enquiries. We had to go back to the broker and request confirmation from the bank that we have a grace period of two weeks extra to close the purchase. During these final days there was no apology nor assurance we will finalise everything in time. They caused so much stress, I simply cannot put in words how much stress they caused us with unprofessional behaviour. They didn't reply back to our emails ever, we had to follow up constantly. They didn't forward documents on time. They were not available on the phone for most of the time. A few times when we did get Denise on the phone she was totally unprepared and not capable of helping or answering our questions, most of the time Denise was writing emails while we were on the phone line and telling her what we are still missing. We complained to Robert and Indie so many times, nobody bothered to ever take us seriously. The best part, there was no chain involved. A typical high volume, low charging firm. I have never written a review about a solicitor's company, however I feel like I need to help others and advise them to stay away from this company. Awful service from everyone involved really including Robert, Denise, Ayesha, Indie. And those who see the so-called positive reviews take note, these have been requested in most cases.

If there is no star review probably it will be too generous for this whatever you call it but law firm. Bad service, the worst communication ever and they will end up ruining everything for you and make you wish you were never born in this world. I used them for conveyancing service and they gave my file for 5 months to a junior guy who failed even to update me at least and I was begging on weekly bases for a simple update. My mortgage expired and the deal gone with them charging me full fees. Please don't make the same mistake I did and I recommend you go and hire a kid who does not understand anything about the law as they may provide you with better service..
