Our favourite dog walking place in the area. Seeing the comments about the occasional smells, algae grows on some trapped water in the heat of the summer, and of course there is a water treatment plant behind the trees. Recent changes to the dog walking rules make it on lead walking only inside the concrete path to protect resting birds on the shingle beach especially in winter. Football field and rough grassland next to the caravan park is okay for off lead dog walking.
