Dramatically situated ruins with a great vantage point overlooking the surrounding countryside. A short walk from the village up the steps to the castle takes in a couple of information boards outlining its history. The village itself is very attractive and worth a look around while you're visiting. Narrow roads and not much parking around so a good idea to visit away from peak times.

The castle is in ruins, but hey it's free, and the information boards neatly explain its history and why its position was so important.
