We hired an 12 person electric picnic boat for the day during Easter and had a lovely time. The boat was very well kept, the instructions and explanation given about how to drive and manoeuvre the boat were clear and thorough. There was plenty of room for 4 adults, one child and 4 dogs (varying in size and age!). The on board facilities of the kettle on a gas hob, toilet, water and table were very useful throughout the day. We had a great time exploring The Broads. Thank you!

My husband and I hired a day boat with our dog. The boat was clean and well maintained, and very easy for us first timers to use. The service was excellent, we were given very clear instructions and provided a mobile number to ring if we ran into any trouble. Absolutely brilliant day out.

Hired the electric picnic boat Glittering Waters for the day on Sunday for me, my mum (Carol) and our little dog Bandit. We had such a fantastic time. Although only 2 of us we prefer a picnic boat for the luxury of the onboard toilet and extra room. The boat was lovely inside, clean, well kept and very modern. It was easy to drive (once you get to grip with the steering) and was so so lovely compared to a diesel engine boat, it was so quiet! Quiet enough that a couple of kingfishers were happy to come out while we were cruising by. The staff were amazing. We didn’t get the lady’s name but she was so friendly explaining everything and just generally having a chat. Although we didn’t need it, the offer of dog life jackets as well as our own was a fantastic service to offer! It was so lovely to explore this part of the broads with glittering waters and it was worth every penny you get much more than what other offer for the low price!! Thank you Sutton Staithe Boatyard, until next time!!

We hired 2 Canadian Canoes for the day, and were delighted with the service we received, including efficient and friendly team who made us feel fully supported - including advising us on the lovely route we took from Sutton to Dilham and back. You might need to be a bit fitter than we were to do it in 3 hours (it's about an 8 mile round trip), but we went through some quieter waterways without so much larger boat navigation, some of which were so clear you could see the water weed and the fish quite easily which was lovely. We moored up at Dilham and some of us took a 5 minute walk to the Cross Keys pub and bought some lunch back for us all to enjoy on the grass next to the canoes. Given our modest fitness levels, we weren't able to get back on time, but phoned the Boatyard who were very understanding, flexible and fair about our 'overstay'. All in all a fabulous active experience of the Broads up close. Really friendly small boatyard who couldn't have been more helpful.
