The park is a great outdoor space for a stroll, a walk, a run, a cycle, there are enough roads to have a nice leisurely loop on a road bike or enough woodland to have a mountain bike round a few woodland trails. There are great open spaces for rounders, cricket, a game of football etc and dogs love it, as the wide open areas away from roads is brilliant to let the dog off the lead. The Hartopp Gate is a nice entrance which gives you access to the Blackroot Bistro car park, they do lovely food and drink here, and on Christmas day there is a large jump in into Blackroot pool at 10am which is great fun! 🎅
