This is a truly good school. My daughter joined in year 8- 2020. She is quite and introverted but at SHS she is always seen and heard. Kids crack jokes in classes and the teachers appreciate humour and never reprimand or act offended. Girls are genuinely respected by all staff. Our daughter eventually made great friends. And she is continuously challenged academically and her grades are getting better every year. The school offers support lessons to GCSE students who are not on track and this has helpful. Overall, it’s a well balanced school.

PLEASE READ REVIEW BEFORE APPLYING TO THIS SCHOOL: this school is honestly the worst, if there was a business solely to traumatize and make young girls cry and feel cornered, alone and dismissed, this is the one!! only sadistic parents would send their kids here knowing what this school is like, please please please for the love of your children do not send them here unless u can afford eternal therapy for lifelong mental damage…

I go here, and honestly, there's nothing I would change about it. The teachers, the staff, the pupils... Everyone is unique and AMAZING. Ms Dawson is so approachable and welcoming, thank you Ms Dawson! Everyone here is treated equally and I love this place so much. Whenever someone says 'homley place', this school- no, my home- is the first place I think of. Love you, Sutton High :)

Excellent school: good all round with great teaching, supportive culture, sports and extra curricular activities. Updated review in lockdown - school has been AMAZING. So impressed with the head Mrs Dawson and the extraordinary effort and support to the girls - my daughter has not only had a full school curriculum but also virtual clubs! So much better than my son's school. Really good pastoral support too. Couldn't be better really.

I would not hesitate to recommend SHS. My daughter started at the school at the age of 3 and has continued on into the senior school. The academic and pastoral care are fantastic with encouragement, guidance and support. There are a huge variety of extracurricular activities and clubs available. I am very grateful to all the staff and school members for guiding my daughter into the young lady she is becoming.

We've had two daughters at sutton high since reception and they're now in exam years. The school has always been excellent, but it's even more appreciated in these difficult times of lockdown. Mrs Dawson is an amazing head teacher, who has kept the girls going so well.

My older daughter attended this school from age 4-16 and I currently have my second daughter in year 10 ( she has attended the school since age 3). I found the Junior school to be excellent throughout for both my daughters with very strong teaching and leadership . The senior school has become 5* since the current head Mrs Dawson took over within the last year . Prior to that I would have given it 3-4* under the previous head. It has improved immensely under the current head and has come into its own during the Covid-19 crisis with excellent communication with parents ( previously communication had been poor) and I cannot find any fault with the educational provision during the crisis. I would highly recommend the school both Junior and Senior and I believe that under the current leadership it is well worth the money.
