Quoted £300 for van transport for a 20 mile trip, expensive but they arrived promptly. No mention of VAT on phone when quoting, then demanded VAT be paid on top of £300. Would not unload the van until I paid extra, even though I had paid the original quote into a personal bank account, not business. Eventually I gave in after they threatened to take my van back to their 'yard'. I asked for invoice to be emailed with VAT number- not received. AVOID!

Hideous company. Steer clear! I was not advised beforehand how much the work would cost - they asked for £300 after doing the 15 minute job, where two other companies I later phoned advised me that was very overpriced and the work should have only been £150. They were also 2 hours later than they promised they would be. I tried calling them twice after being forced to make the payment (by an overbearing male who made me feel very uncomfortable by standing too close and urging me through my bank's security checks) to discuss a more reasonable fee and both times they have hung up the phone. Sussex Recovery was highly over priced. They promised an hour to an hour and a half for the recovery but in fact the driver took two and a half hours to arrive. He kept ringing to ask for directions, couldn't understand English very well and then demanded to be paid in cash. Certainly would NOT use them again.

Extremely helpful. Went out of their way to help find the cat so I could get a part. Even to the extent of going to the very back yard that we didn't have access to and lifting another car off the car I wanted a part from. Absolutely cannot fault the service or the price especially as most people wouldn't have bothered to look or assist like the guys down there did
