Always been around 45mins hold time, so I expect it when I call. Read a review saying make the right noises but don't care and thought I've never experienced that, maybe only once or twice ish..until tonight.. I am so overwhelmed with emotions on a dangerous level..It was 45mins hold to talk to exactly that. I think a brick would of been more helpful and sympathetic not asking stupid questions about things irrelevant to what I'm experiencing.. It was like having a chat with an chat bot.. I am 100x worse then when I phoned. I hung up in the end as he obviously from the beginning could not be bothered and when he ran out of scripted questions told me to contact another charity chat line.. i explained that the point of ringing them was for help.. Then i told him dont worry quite angrily, thats when i hung up.. It has taken me ages to ring through anxiety and worrying about having exactly the conversation I just had.. There are some great workers. But this person I spoke to is not appropriate for the job.. I think it would of been better if he'd hung up, then try have an attempt at a conversation with him..The stars are for the workers that care and do genuinely try..For them I would give a million stars, but for the workers who don't care or are not in the right head space to do it properly, don't do this job.. Your costing peoples lives with your incompetence.. Ps please change hold music to meditation music. Really increases anxiety and stress the hold nusic you have now. Thankyou

If I could give 0 stars I could. Does anyone ever answer the phone? I always get told to call the line but never ever get anyone to answer, I have tried calling several times and each time I leave it for an hour and then I just give up.... When I tell sussex partnership that I have never managed to get through they also seem surprised, I get stuck on a loop of operator will be with you shortly but they never are. I feel let down, I have rang in a crisis but never get through to someone. Fund it more or get more staff i dont know but this is disgusting for a mental health line.

Shocking ! On hold for over an hour and further evidence mental heath is a crisis, underfunded and under resourced.. One more item to the blasé attitude of this government towards the mental health community Its so poor we should hang out heads in shame One hour thirsty seven minutes and no answer.. Yep this should speed up deaths in the mental health community and help clear backlog
