Reported divert signs left after roadworks completed months ago. Filled in forms online, spoken to several 'customer care' people at SH and they're still there. Not fit for purpose.

Driving home from Gatwick at 6.30 last night in pouring rain. On the road leading into Leigh there were 6 cars on the narrow unlit road with punctures due to a large pothole. We were lucky not to have joined the others. Road conditions were very dangerous. We were then diverted to join the A24 in Dorking. The dirvertion was to turn right across the road. This meant to cross the line of traffic coming up the hill, on a blind corner in the dark and heavy rain. Knowing where we were, we eventually were able to turn right and come back on ourselves via the roundabout. Even this meant a long wait as visibility was so poor. So dangerous.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated that no-one can take the time to follow up on reports of poor condition/lack of tarmac/uneven surfaces of our roads. The road surfaces in Surrey are becoming worse and worse with little or no repairs being carried out. It is dangerous not just for motorists but also pedestrians when crossing the roads. Surely road surfaces must start to be improved at some point????
