Waste of time, makes offer a week ago. Several offers turned down in respect for said offer. Turns up a week later says he doesn’t want and leaves despite my protestations stating ‘Well, I’m not going to argue about it mate’ ...... great!!! In response to owners response: I provided Surrey Furniture, as requested, with photos of the furniture I was selling. I even sent in pictures of drawer dovetail joints and cupboard hinges etc, etc....... The owner, Derek, contacted me on the strength of these and said that he would definitely have the furniture, a price was agreed and after telling him that I could not afford for him not to pick the furniture up on the allotted day as I had a delivery of new furniture coming the day after he said that he would put the arranged date down as a ‘pick up’ and not a viewing, he promptly turned up and declined the furniture. This was the reason for my original posting on this site. I did receive a phone call from the owner Derek the other day, objecting to my posting and saying it was unfair. I would suggest that from my text as above you can all decide whether I was unfair for yourselves. I would just like to add that the telephone call from Derek finished by him call me a f...ing knob head! True colours showing through. I hung up!!
