As a fostering agency, we do not charge fees for adoption services. We work closely with local authorities to provide permanent homes for children in foster care. However, there may be some costs associated with the legal process of adoption, such as court fees and solicitor fees. What is the ratio of caregivers to clients in your facility?
We do not have a facility, as the children in our care are placed with foster families. The ratio of caregivers to clients varies depending on the needs of each child and the type of fostering placement (e.g. short-term, long-term, respite care). We work closely with our foster families to ensure they have the support and resources they need to provide the best possible care for our foster children.Reviews

We began our fostering journey just over a year ago, and were pleasantly surprised by how straightforward the assessment process was. The assessing social worker was very professional and easy to get on with. Communication was excellent, and we were very well supported throughout the initial assessment process, and also once we started fostering. We would definitely recommend the Surrey Fostering Team!

If you're thinking of fostering, I highly recommend it - the country needs more Foster Carers! And the Surrey Fostering team are great people to talk to about the journey. Our family have had over 40 kids in our home over the years, but we moved to Surrey last year and have seen the best level of support and care that we've ever experienced. The Surrey Fostering team is professional, helpful, knowledgable and friendly... and kind and fun!

We applied to be foster carers with Surrey 2 years ago and have now been fostering for just over a year. We chose Surrey over our own local authority as we found their recruitment process so thorough and also caring. We have learnt so much about parenting children with trauma and feel the Surrey team equipped and guided us really well through that necessary development. We absolutely trust that Surrey cares about the well-being of the children in their care and are proud to be part of that team.

I transferred to Surrey fostering last year after 7 years fostering with an independent fostering agency and I have been very impressed. The assessment process was very thorough and done with sensitivity and professionalism. We have been given lots of relevant training and been well supported at every stage of the process. I have found the Surrey fostering team to be very friendly and welcoming and I continue to be very well supported by my fostering buddy and supervising social worker.

I HAD A WORST EXPERIENCE WITH SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL FOSTERING TEAM. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL . DISGUSTING PEOPLE. IT USED TO BE VERY GOOD AGENCY NOW THEY BASICALLY HIRE ANYONE MAINLY YOUNG PEOPLE . WHO LACK COMMON SENSE AND CREDIBILITY. WHO CAME TO MY HOUSE FOR AN INITIAL VISIT - POCKED THEIR NOSE INTO MY BUSINESS LIKE AN INTERFERING LITTLE BUSY BODY. THEN REFUSED TO PRESS ON WITH APPLICATION WITHOUT GIVING A GOOD REASON OR OPTIONS. WOULD'NT EVEN GET BACK TO ME. DISGUSTING PEOPLE NOT ONLY THEY LACK CREDIBILITY AND PROFESSIONALISM. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR EVEN HAVING JOBS.. IT IS BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE THEM, WHY THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN AND VULNERABLE KIDS LOSE OUT. KICK THEM OUT OF THE JOB. RUBBISH AND THEY STINK.
