Had a lovely out of season stay here. I love Westward Ho! It's a lovely, traditional seaside town. Surf Bay is a smallish caravan park just down from the main area, takes about 5 minutes to walk from the site to the sea front. Surf Bay has private access to Northam Burrows which is a beautiful walk next to the seafront where sheep graze. Our caravan was privately owned, we booked it through Airbnb. It was very well maintained and very clean. The site is quiet, each van has parking, some are right beside the van. There is an electric car charger point on the main car park that has been recently installed. There is a launderette on site, I didn't use it so can't review it. If definitely stay at Surf Bay again. Dog-friendliness: The whole town is dog friendly, water bowls are left outside of shops. Dogs are allowed in most restaurants.

Nice and quiet location. We went in early March which would probably be as quiet as it gets! Had a caravan on air b and b (number 7). Compact and cozy with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Very clean and well presented. It's very close to the town and the sea (about 5 minute walk) Laundrette on site but didn't use it. Free WiFi but the 5g was very good. Parking next to the van but there are general spaces at the front of the site including an electric charger. Would recommend Dog-friendliness: Dogs were welcome in our van.

Really clean, good location. Wasn't worth the money, the sheets where scratchy. The hot tub cover we struggled getting off as its so heavy, so we didn't use it. Every morning at 8, a man come to do cleaning on hot tub, would have been nice to been told, as he could see in the window while we was sleeping. The hot tub should have a cover over it so you can use when it rains. The out door furniture was uncomfortable. The ad said king-size bed, it's a double. The people on top smoked canibas every night, not great that my kids kept asking what the smell was. It just wasn't great for the price I paid, wouldn't stay again.
