My parents used them. They turned up to the new house early in the morning on the day of completion without checking when completion was going to take place. They then said that lorry load of stuff couldn't be delivered until weeks later. But much more worrying is the amount of items lost and broken. Thousands of pounds of damage and loss. They are now simply not responding to my parents who are instructing lawyers. Avoid at all costs.

The guys took us from Chorlton over to Ashton. They were very efficient and very professional. It seems that they were short staffed this week so there were delays, but fortunately it worked out well for us. We really appreciated the work they did on such a hot day and I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving around Manchester.

Avoid if you are looking for a professional company that deals with damages in an acceptable way. This is a very long post but you'll see why if you read it in full. We booked our removal with Sure Move for 9am. They didn't arrive at 9am, after several phone calls, firstly advising that our removal duo had gone to assist colleagues, then being told 'they will be there very soon, they are not far away', they eventually turned up at 10.45am. On the phone Johnnie was very apologetic but his driver wasn't. When we said they were meant to have been with us at 9 his response was a very brusque 'nobody told me, if I'd been told that I'd have been here'.They weren't wearing masks, we asked if they would and the driver point blank refused. They didn't bring any tools with them so when the dining room table needed the legs removing they asked my partner for tools and he ended up doing it himself. In the initial visit Michael had only asked if we needed beds dismantling, he also checked in our wardrobes to see how many wardrobe boxes we required, they were 6 short! This meant we had to delay the completion while we waited for another van to bring them. When they lifted the fridge/freezer they dropped it tearing the vinyl flooring and leaving a hole in it. The driver tried to blame it on the feet of the fridge/freezer! We phoned Johnnie and immediately sent photos, he said he would deal with it. When we got to the new house the owners had left several items which our drivers mate offered to take away saying to my partner 'it's the least we can do after what's happened'. When we contacted Johnnie about the damage as we hadn't heard from him he asked what we were looking for, after consulting the estate agent and the new buyer of our house we said she was looking for £200 as the vinyl flooring was one piece that covered the whole kitchen and dining room and we thought that was very reasonable.They offered £100, Johnnie said he'd consulted his team and been told they'd taken items of our furniture to get rid of at no cost so this would be taken into account. I explained it was his guy that offered to do this, we didn't ask and it wasn't our stuff! Johnnie said they would still only offer £100. We don't think this was an acceptable offer but had no option but to accept on our buyers behalf. To get to this position had taken several emails and lots of chasing. All in all a very bad experience.

The team at suremove are fantastic! They did a brilliant job of moving us from our previous property to our new home. The entire crew that arrived were incredibly friendly, diligent and professional, ensuring that all items were handled with care and placed in the desired spot in our new home. They went completely above and beyond. We were the team's 5th move of the day, yet still they did everything with a smile on their faces! Highly recommend.
