  We had Slide and Pivot doors at our last property, however we did have an issue with a sticking lock mechanism. I contacted the company several times asking for a service and was prepared to pay. After several emails, we never got any reponse as to how to get someone out to look at the issue. In the end we moved house without getting the lock repaired. I was considering using them again for our new property as we loved the style and design of the doors. However after reading other people's reviews I now know the issues I experienced with post-sale support were not a one off. I will look elsewhere.

  We got two of the slide and stack doors and they are really beautiful. Reading reviews we were concerned about if we needed customer service, but when after some time we developer a small gap between two of the doors Sunseekers replied quickly, sent friendly engineers out & fixed the problem in 5minutes as well as talking us through how to avoid the problem in the future & doing a check service check on both doors. Highly recommend

  Impossible to get hold of with countless unanswered emails and calls. We’ve been trying for weeks to organise the installation of outside access to open the bifold doors at our property but are like the other reviewers receiving appalling customer service.

  Sunseeker delivered doors to my house which are of the wrong specification and despite promising to deliver the correct doors they have failed to do so. My contractor and I have tried to contact them multiple times and have received no responses or failed promises of deadlines they will meet and then nobody turns up. This has resulted in material costs and delays to the project. Totally unprofessional service particularly given I ordered two sets of doors from them. I would advise everybody to look elsewhere for more reliable businesses.

  Faulty product and awful aftercare! We have had THREE cancelled appointments, which have followed on from TWO no shows! We have had 2 runs of doors installed. 1 is fine and works exactly as it should - and credit to them - is great. This is totally overshadowed however by the second set in which one of the panels has a scratch on the INSIDE of the double glazing, the panels don't slide (they're like moving a boulder), the door doesn't even close properly (!!), the handle is stiff and resistant and the 5 panels don't open easily and seem to be misaligned. Between myself and my builder we have been chasing now for a service call for over 6 months and just get no show and cancellations.

  AVOID! If you don't get your product right from the first time, or if you need some snags done, they will ignore your emails for weeks, not to mention that no one is answering the phone. I have ordered a bifold door, indeed a beautiful design with a ridiculous locking mechanism. The key is the size of a post box key, and as you can imagine does not lock the 5-point locking mechanism but locks the handle. Not ideal if the same door is used for the main entrance to the house and opposite of which is a road and park. The stupid mechanism on the side, but when I tried to resolve this, they were barely responding, came once for the rest of the snags and cancelled 2 other appointments. The door was installed at the beginning of June so since then, I can't get them to replace the handle, on top of that since the beginning of August they haven't responded to any of the emails I have sent.

  We have had our doors for nearly 3 years and have been incredibly happy with the sleek look and smooth ease at which they open and shut. The windows and doors were all installed without any problems. We decided to get hooks to pin back the windows about a year later and the engineers came and did that without any issues. Whilst it is hard to get through to anyone on the phone because they are a small company, once you do get through, things happen.The reason I'm giving 4*s today is because of the aftercare service we have experienced lately has been EXCELLENT. We use our patio door an awful lot, probably more than most! Letting the dog in and out constantly, the kids in and out, and now spring has come, I am in and out all the time gardening and hanging up the washing. As a result, our door does get a lot of use and after 3 years the door's top hinge became looser and looser to the point where it had completely slipped and we weren't able to open and close it at all. One of the other causes for the hinge getting so bad was the wind catching it and blowing it so wide open, it banged back on the hinge inside the runner (hard to explain - but easily rectified with a door stop for next time). This all came to ahead over the Jubilee bank holiday but on the Monday, Tony at Sunseekers managed to go above and beyond to help us get a mechanic out to us by 8am the next day to fix our door. Tony explained that they had a full day of appointments in Leeds and the South East but he was able to rearrange things to fit us in. I have to say there are a lot of companies who would not have fixed our doors for free after three years, but with Sunseekers this is their dutiful aftercare commitment to anyone who buys their doors. They are reliable, honest and committed to providing an all over great service. It is important to support our British companies who get it right and Sunseekers has really impressed me. Thank you.

  We had 3 sets of the SunSeeker doors installed about 5 years ago. The company is small and doesn't have many staff in the office, but the process was fairly smooth. I did go to their factory to check them out, and they clearly have low overheads(!) The doors are very good so far. The slim lines are fantastic and the mechanism is inherently very simple so there isn't that much to go wrong, and would be simple to fix if it did. Opening and closing is slightly more effort than a conventional sliding system, and you do have to open each panel individually, but on balance, the flexibility, security and lack of big bars means I definitely recommend them. Some other points: They do swell a bit in the heat which occasionally makes them a bit sticky, but nothing major. They are quite sensitive to the position of the rollers top-and-bottom, if they get out of alignment, the doors will jam a bit. Easy to fix but annoying. Closing the single door with a handle is a bit fiddly (you have to make sure it is flush before closing) but once you get used to it, it is fine. The price I paid was good - less than the other slide-and-fold systems. Not quite a 5 star product, but I am happy with them.

  Lovely looking doors shocking aftercare.. since being fitted nothing but issues literally ever summer we try to use them. Sadly now it’s the out of warranty so it’s let’s charge you more money to fix it. Left with doors not closing open to the elements currently.. I would sadly never recommend this company stay clear and I like to support small businesses ..
