    Before you come to your appointment, make sure you bring water and a picnic because you’re going to be waiting over an hour. Also be aware that when you try stick up for yourself at the reception, they will chat, gossip and laugh at you when you leave. If you ask for female doctor, you won’t get one but they’ll book you in anyway and waste your time. Doctors here don’t care and won’t let you finish your symptoms before they try diagnose you with some rubbish. This place just gets worse and worse.

    Can never truthfully say had a good experience and never come away feeling satisfied. Can’t get appointments, doctor is just waiting to retire, getting away with doing bare minimum. Appointments are reserved for easier patients for them to handle.

    I’ve always had positive experiences when going into the surgery itself. However, today I was booked in for a telephone appointment at 10.10. After waiting and hour and not hearing anything I called the surgery, to be informed that ‘he [the dr] doesn’t stick to times’ and I’d be called back when he’s free. I asked if I could be given any estimation of a time given I was working, but was told ‘there’d be no point as he doesn’t stick to times’. I was then told that call backs usually happen from 12. This seems such a ridiculous system and is quite disrespectful to patients, as it shows little regard for a patient’s time. It’s challenging to book a GP appointment around working hours, so to be expected to keep a full day free as a doctor could randomly call at any time is somewhat frustrating. Even being given either a morning or afternoon slot would be marginally better. As it stands, I’ve been waiting by my phone since 10am, and now will have to continue to do so until the surgery shuts. This is impacting heavily on my working day as I’ve had to rearrange my afternoon as I’ve no idea when I’ll receive a call. I appreciate (like all public sector services) that GPs are stretched, however there has to be a better system for these appointments. It’s a shame, as I’ve always found the GPs and nurses here to be lovely and empathetic in person, but the telephone appointment system appears to be completely illogical.

    Poor service. They set appointments and run behind. When you ask them to reschedule, because you have other appointments they offer reschedule in a week, when a two-year-old child is coughing and can't sleep. They do not care about health of their patience. GP told me to give paracetamol, when he had red throat, ears and running nose. As a result in two weeks we had to take antibiotics. Poor service.

    Been with this practice many years and seen it slip in to a practice that is woefully far from decent. When you get to see the regular in-house GP spot on. Rest of the time random GP there is no continuity at all. Reception staff are particularly rude and apportion errors back to the patient. I stood my ground on one occasion and put said receptionist in her place. Surgery I resorted to private on one occasion and they needed my medical records what an utter mitigated disaster. I was ready for surgery sat on the bed to be advised the records sent through were wrong and inadequate. I was given a refund thank goodness. Got dressed went hone made a written complaint to the Practice Manager who is hopeless and never got a response. It has become what I can only describe as the worst medical practice I have ever encountered. The GP however is outstanding not sure why this cannot be applied to the staff.

    Am absolutely disgusted by the nurse who told my daughter she is obese. She's 19 there's so much about mental health nowadays she could easily have walked out of that surgery and killed herself learn how to speak to people. Had my child in tears.

    This has been my practice for three years now, in that time, they’ve only managed to get one repeat prescription right. Most recently it took four days to get my asthma medication prescription filled (called day one to explain I have Covid… passed from pharmaceutical for back to the practice, still no action for three days) then when finally told the prescription had been passed to the primacy and was ready, I turned up, to find that Sunfield Medical centre (in Leeds) have sent it to a Pharmacy… in Stoke. The receptionist accused me of moving my nominated pharmacy (to a pharmacy in Stoke… where I’ve never been), and tries to palm me off that “it’ll have to be after the weekend now”. Happy to leave an asthmatic who has Covid without medication for an additional 4 days. One of the practice owners also argued to me that the cost of the NHS should be borne by “the poor, as they’re the ones using it”. I asked him what the likely ramifications are of denying medical treatment to the poor would be, and his conclusion was “oh, well, many deaths, but why should the rich pay for the care of the poor”. Absolutely shocking. Sadly, they’ve removed their complaints process, so not sure who to report the above to as yet.

    On Friday 25/2/22 I rang at 8am to get an appt albeit a telephone one at 8.02 am I was advised fully booked. SO Monday 28/2/22 here we go again 8.03 am (3mins on hold) no appts again fully booked this is ridiculous I have been out of hospital for just over a week and need to talk to my doctor
