Fab little place! My children thought it was magical we’ve had a great week here staying at wild acre village! The soft play in crash landings is one of the best we’ve been too! The park is clean and really well maintained. A little bit of advice: We’ve come out of season/ midweek so watch out for ride opening times and food places being closed.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in a squirrel lodge. The location is fab with a private entrance to the park for guests only. It's only a short stroll away so not too far for the little ones to walk. There's also a small playground on site for the kids and a shop that sells anything you might need. The theme park is aimed at toddlers to preschool (max age of 7 I'd say!) And there's plenty to do. We were going to go back in to the park on day 3 but 2 days was enough. We got round everything and didn't feel the need to spend a 3rd day in there. The staff were very helpful and because we went outside of school holidays it was quiet so we didn't have to queue for rides etc. The only downside was the heat in the lodges because there isn't any air conditioning. It made sleeping very uncomfortable. We had to close the bedroom doors in the night so the sun didn't wake us up early doors (curtains in the living room were not blackout) so it made the rooms even hotter. We'd hoped to cook our own meals in our lodge but both nights we ended up eating in the restaurant because it was too hot and we looked forward to the air con in there. We had in mind that we would book again for summer but having stayed there this week with the weather being hot, but not near enough as hot as summer can get it has put us off. It is a big shame as we have loved the park itself and the lodges are very stylish and well equipped. The heat just spoilt it unfortunately.

Went 30 years ago with the kids and it was great. Now it's time with Grandkids and it's still great - they love it - but my, it is tired and neglected beyond belief. Needs a total re-paint and re-fresh. No staff anywhere to ask anythine whilst you're going round, total DIY visit. But the Grandkids noticed none of this and still loved it 🙂
