FAQ

What is the teacher-to-student ratio in your kindergarten?

Our kindergarten maintains a low teacher-to-student ratio, with one teacher for every ten children. This allows for individualized attention and support for each child's development.

What is the curriculum and daily schedule for children in your kindergarten?

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which focuses on seven areas of learning: communication and language, physical development, personal, social, and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding of the world, and expressive arts and design. Our daily schedule includes a balance of structured learning activities, free play, outdoor time, and rest periods.

What is the discipline policy for children who misbehave?

Our discipline policy is based on positive reinforcement and redirection. We encourage children to make positive choices and provide guidance and support when needed. In situations where a child's behavior is disruptive or harmful to others, we work with parents to develop a plan to address the behavior and promote positive change.

Are there extracurricular activities offered at your kindergarten?

Yes, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities, including music, dance, sports, and language classes. These activities are designed to complement our core curriculum and provide children with additional opportunities for learning and socialization.

What is the process for enrolling my child in your kindergarten?

To enroll your child in our kindergarten, you can contact us to schedule a tour of our facility and meet with our staff. We will provide you with an enrollment packet and answer any questions you may have. Once you have completed the enrollment paperwork and paid the registration fee, your child will be enrolled in our program.

Its been a while since my son went but I am suddenly disturbed by how nasty the overall experience was. It was the first nursery my son attended so I didn't have much to compare it to. I look back it was really not nice. I remember the reception girls being extremely snotty and rude. Just a few examples- I arrived 1 min before afternoon slot and she wouldn't allow my son to go up. I asked if they took pictures of my son for an on line diary- clearly I was referring to a way parents can view the pictures privately- I remembered them briefly mentioning this. She acted completely confused like she had no idea what I was referring to, said we don't post pictures online then closed the subject. One time my son was crying because they tried to force him to sit. One time I saw him all alone sat on a chipped paint window sill while the staff chatted to some dad. I really wish I had pulled him out. The first day I arrived and I remember his lip was bleeding! They also have toxic fake grass.

My daughter has attended Sunbeams since she was 6 months old. She now leaves in August to move onto school. Sunbeams have been amazing with her and my daughter and I will be so sad when that day comes. Throughout the years she has been at sunbeams her keyworkers have been excellent. All the staff are lovely who I've come across and truly are all amazing people who put so much effort into developing these small humans. My daughter's favourite bits about Sunbeams is the freshly cooked food, playing outside and her keyworkers.

My Child goes to this nursery as will his little brother when he's old enough. The children are really well looked after. My child always comes home singing new songs thats they've learned. The staff are always really poilte and informative and give you a brief of what your child has been up to at pick up time.

They treat staff terribly and consistently lie on accident forms. They also fired a whistle blowing member of staff, which you are not allowed to do if staff members claims are true

I will not recommend!!, i find them very money-oriented & withdrew my son as i find attitude of the Manager & staff rather questionable. I was often contacted to collect my child for the slightest cough or sneeze, once contacted at least 3times whilst at work to collect him as he was very poorly only for me to leave work, arrive 2 mins later & find him running and playing with his friends. They would throw his packed lunch away claiming he does not like it and persuade me to pay extra £6 for his lunch. The last straw was when my son had been off ill from nursery for a whole week but attended a birthday party he was invited to by one of his friends. We recognised and sat next to the nursery Manager & another staff but both ignored us and did not even ask if my son was feeling any better despite been off the whole week. Extremely glad i left for another OFSTED rated nursery up the road, No £50 joining fee, Better day rate "including meals" & my son has hardly ever been poorly.

Amazing place! I was only there for a short time but I could see that the children was really happy. The grounds are safe and inviting. The environment around the nursery is beautiful with loads of nature around. It is a bit away from the motorway or roads so there is little risk of pollution. There are great and happy staff who take care of the children really well. From what I saw of the meals that the children have they look nutritious, delicious and smelt really good. I would definitely recommend sending your children here.
