Couldn’t ask for a better Indian takeaway. We don’t usually eat in but ended up here for Christmas dinner and it was insane! We had traditional Indian Christmas dinner which was delicious and allowed us to try things we’d never normally order. I always get the chicken tikka jalfrezi but we can also vouch for the massala, saag and rogan Josh dishes too- best ones we’ve had! Thank you Sunar Gow for consistently brilliant service, we’re lucky to have you local to us.

Sat night takeaway overpriced and rubbish food. Got salad ( all onion) and sauce, but no poppadoms. Peshwari Nan stuffed only with dried coconut, (which all fell out), was so dry and tough, it was inedible. Mixed Tandoori Jaipur was nearly all chicken, a few pieces of lamb, no prawns, but loads of mushrooms. Chips soggy. Late because driver couldn't find us!? Very expensive for what it was. Won't be ordering from here again.!

This is a go-to Indian restaurant for us as it's usually consistently okay. On the last visit 2 of us tried one of the specials for a change, but won't be doing that again. Neither of them were any better than the traditional main course and the rice portion was tiny. So we'll be sticking to our favourites. There's always loads of friendly attentive staff on hand.
