Do not use or even ask for advice. Brenda the receptionist was almost laughing at me when I asked her if they offered a 24 hour service as my cat needed an emergency service and she almost sniggled and said ‘we can barely deal with our own patients’. Will never ever recommend. Rude rude lady with no sympathy.

I had been going to this vet for a number of years. I found a mole on my dogs leg, but was reassured by the vet it was nothing to worry about. It started to get bigger, so again I went back with concerns, again to be reassured it was nothing to worry about. Eventually it was taken off, only as my dog was having another procedure under general anaesthetic. It was sent off for analysis, only to come back as very aggressive cancer. I would never in a million years take any of my pets here again.

In dealing with Alan and his team, I found that they are not only professionals in their field but also they do care for the pets they treat. Very knowledgable, working out of hours , they cure where possible and explain everything in detail and also they are very patient not only with pets but also with their owners. Thank you Alan for everything you have done for Porter and his family!

I have recently moved out of the area so, after many years of fabulous care from Alan & his team, I have now registered with a vet in my new neighbourhood. As a parting shot though I just wanted to say that as a dog owner of many years & who has encountered a number of vets along the way, I doubt any could match the care & professionalism I consistently received from Alan. A great vet with years of experience who you can always trust will do the best for your pet both in terms of compassion & practicality. He will be greatly missed! Thank you Alan. 🙏

Very professional, knowledgeable and caring. I couldn't fault them. They explained the problems with my rabbits teeth in great detail and took great care to check him over and show us the problem before taking him into surgery. He was home again the same day. Thank you
