Shocking experience. Ordered a shed with installation, they failed to meet the delivery date. When I asked for a refund they wouldn’t refund the fitting charge. Whenever I email them they phone back, rather than email - clearly don’t want any of their promises down in writing.

Bought the 8x14 ft canopy for my patio. The delivery came very fast. The poor delivery man was very happy to see me waiting for the product as it came in one long box weighing 56kg and I had to help him unload it as there was no way he was going to be able to do that on his own. Overall I'm very happy with the product a few pieces were a bit misshapen and I had to bend these back into place so everything would fit together. The instructions are okay, I'd describe them as a poor man's attempt at copying IKEA, the order of assembly could be improved. The tools supplied with the product are next to useless. It took 3 of us around 7 hours to build and we are all veey competent with DIY. The finished item looks great I've taken a star off for the delivery man being on his own and the fact a few pieces were bent but we worked round this.

I am not allowed to place an order with this company any longer as I have previously returned an item!!!! I simply exercised my rights, under UK law to return an item because I had changed my mind. The company thought this was unacceptable so I am now not allowed a simple vent for my greenhouse just in case I wish to return it. The email I received telling me so after they had cancelled my order twice in one week was rude, obnoxious and downright uncalled for!!!

I am happy to give an excellent review for SUMMER GARDEN BUILDINGS. Their customer service is great. I had to ring several times because I was having trouble with my credit card. The phone was answered very quickly and the women I spoke to on several different occasions were friendly helpful and polite. My garden bench arrived in 48 hours, the delivery driver was friendly and helpful. I put the bench together on my own easily. The instructions were clear and all the different pieces, nuts and bolts, spanner etc well packaged. I will definitely be buying from this company again. I am retired and live alone and feel they are trustworthy.

Disgraceful company who have stolen from me. Ordered something which came with the wrong instructions. Took two months to return as they had to send packaging for it (ropes and cling film, which it didn’t come originally packaged with!) finally they collected it. I’ve just been told they are deducting the costs of the extra packaging and transport from my refund, which wasn’t stated prior. Illegal. Do not use

I would give this company no stars if I could. For context, I have never left a negative review before. I have been told that my experience is very unusual and I have been unlucky, but please do not take the chance of ordering a cabin with the sub contractor to fit it. The pack was delivered and left sitting on my drive for over 2 months. The fitter did not come on the arranged date that was within a week of delivery. It then took numerous attempts via him and the company to arrange a new date with no response to message after message to the fitter. I asked for the product to be removed as I was so disappointed with the service. Obviously they didn’t do that, just kept delaying and delaying. Eventually the cabin was put up. Within a week the wood of the doors warped and they couldn’t be locked. This was at Christmas and I made the mistake of not going back to the company to tell them immediately as I had just had so much stress with them and was laid up with covid. The winds in January ripped off both doors. Apparently that was my fault, the company took no liability so I am now £600 out of pocket for replacement doors. The company wouldn’t even consider a goodwill payment in recognition of the long standing issues I have had with them, saying that they had secured me a good price for new doors! Reputable companies recognise that good customer service improves their profits rather than costing them business through poor reviews. Reviews confirm that this company is just good at pointing out the small print that absolves them of responsibility for any eventuality. Please don’t use this company if you want to avoid my experience. And question why Trustpilot reviews do not appear on their website. The one star reviews show a very common theme…I was not “unlucky” in receiving shocking service.

Item arrived as described, but the prosumably cheep courier they had used must have thrown the flat pack from there warehouse all the way to us. Every single part needed some work with pliers being straitened before they would assemble as intended. Improve the courier.

£400 for a gazebo that bent in the first 2 months using and they are now not answering emails for a refund. As a small business I can’t afford to lose this money, so looks like small claims it is. 😡 now it’s just a useless, dangerous structure that I have to pay to have taken down. Please can everyone report to trading standards so these crooks don’t get away with it.
