Terrible service, asked for a drink (double) was served a single, asked for another drink and it didn't come after asking 3 times (restaurant wasn't even busy), after 25 minutes I went to the bar myself to get it. I ordered a meal and had missing items, the missing items was replaced with ENGLISH MUSTARD? The food I got was absolutely amazing which is such a shame about the service because it would be a great restaurant. Staff hollered eachother from other side of restaurant, staff members fake nails so long they couldn't pick up anything from our table so I had to pass it to her, and when she dropped a pen on the floor by my table she kicked it to the other side of the restaurant whilst hollering to another staff member to pick it up. Will not be returning unfortunately.

We went on a very quiet Monday evening - we were the only ones in there, which was a surprise. The food was excellent, the service also, I hope that more people find and visit this gem. The Adana Shish Iskender was really good - an excellent balance of flavours & textures, it's surprisingly hard to get it right and this was perfect. I'll definitely be back, and soon!

Absolutely a hidden gem in Lewes. Fantastic authentic Turkish food. Big portions. Excellent value. Quick and friendly service - Would highly recommend and can’t believe it wasn’t more busy. Recommendation to owner: The lights could be slightly dimmer to improve ambiance.

We decided to have a night in to celebrate New Year's eve at home and orderd a mixture of meat and vegetarian dishes. They were all delicious charcoal cooked meats and side dishes freshly chopped herbs and very tasty indeed. Reasonably priced would recommend. We will try the restaurant next time to get the full Turkish experience.

Came because of the reviews - I’d recommend you do the same! Really good value, huge portions (the grill platter for 2 is superb), and well priced wine (including a Chablis at around £30).
