Fantastic little farm, with well looked after livestock. After seeing cows milked as and when they wish to be milked, we wandered round to the farm shop, saw some excited goats enjoying some food and some very friendly pigs, who were verbally happy to see us. In the farm shop was a very friendly lady who assisted us with buying some great tasting butter, cheese and cream, all from the farm itself and very reasonably priced too. We the popped round to the front of the farm to use the milk vending machine. For just £1.50 you can get a beautifully printed glass bottle to put your milk in, which you can obviously bring back to use again. There is a choice of semi-skimmed or whole milk and it costs just £1.10 per litre. The taste is just devine. If you didn't want to buy a glass bottle, there are also plastic bottles there, for free, to reuse again on your next visit. Again another friendly lady helped us with how the machine worked. Very much worth a visit, for both educational and shopping purposes. Little people can see how and where their milk comes from and even make their own flavoured milkshake, meet some friendly animals and have some cheese or meats to enjoy at home.
