Returned some flooring here. My partner phones in advance to explain we had an extra pack and was told we could return it with a refund, minus £30 fee. That was fine. I came into the shop to drop it off, clearly carrying a pack of flooring and the chat at the door nodded his head to a colleague, suggesting he was busy but the colleague could help. Explained to the other chap the situation and he was just so rude. Told me it was not possible to return and asked "well who did you speak to". Fortunately the firstan overheard and explained he had okayed this return. Chuntering the man dealing with me sorted it, but the experience really need not have been so unpleasant.

At a time when you think companies would be clambering for custom "Style flooring of York" clearly are doing well without customers. I needed floorings for bathrooms and bedrooms plus paints and wallpaper... Refurbishment starts on the 10th January...... BUY LOCAL THEY SAY...🤷♀️ PS... I called in at 8:50am this morning for ideas and advice with a view to getting measured up and ordering carpets and flooring plus paints.
