  Manisha is incredibly talented, patient and so fun…I hate shopping but she managed to make it so enjoyable I continued without her and we laughed all the time whilst shopping. We’ve found some awesome new outfits all within budget and I couldn’t get over how easy she made the experience. Not sure I can ever shop by myself now I’ve gone with her - such a treat to turn up to shops with item set aside for you in your size 😁 Completely out of scope but she even found what might be my wedding dress whilst on our shop! Can’t wait to go again either her and couldn’t recommend her more.

  Manisha is amazing. She's thoughtful, kind and has an excellent eye for style, tailored to suit your own personality and wardrobe. It was the first time I'd used a wardrobe editor, but I found it so useful. It helped me be more confident about what styles suited me and, to my surprise, I already had a lot of what I needed in my wardrobe. I loved it so much that I'm getting her back to help with my winter wardrobe. If you are tired of hap-hazard purchasing, and want to have a wardrobe this is easy to navigate, have a range of "go to" outfits, and be more confident about what works (and what doesn't) for your body shape and personal style, I would definitely recommend Manisha.   I’m a middle-aged woman who has spent years battling with my wardrobe, partly because of my height of 4 ft 10, but also because I have never really grasped what suits me. Whenever I go shopping - a traumatic event in itself - I have tended to return home with the same old styles and colours. If I have purchased something different, it has remained unworn in the wardrobe, so I’ve accumulated lots of wastage. Having spent years seeing me open my wardrobe and place my head in my hands, my husband took it upon himself to research someone who might help me. After reviewing several options, he came across Style by Manisha, which resulted in him purchasing my Christmas present in the form of a gift voucher for a half day wardrobe edit and full day personal shop. I wasn’t sure how to take his gift at first, but it’s turned out to be one of the best I have ever had! Firstly, Manisha is incredible and such a wonderful person to spend time with. We had an initial telephone consultation so that she could learn about my situation and what I hoped to achieve from the experience. She was warm, friendly, and when she visited my home for the edit, I felt so comfortable almost like I had known her for ages. She approached my several rails of clothes with care, positivity, but also honesty. Manisha got me to try on several items of clothing, pointing out how they fitted, what suited me and perhaps what I needed to ditch. She paid close attention to my levels of enthusiasm for some items and brought to my attention the reasons why I perhaps felt more attached and confident wearing them was because they had common features that naturally flattered my body shape, proportions, and simply made me feel nicer wearing them. This feedback was mind opening and has been incredibly helpful along with many other tips Manisha has given. At the end of the edit, I had a pile of items to keep, to ditch, and to alter. Due to holidays and other commitments, my personal shop happened quite a few months after the edit (just yesterday). Again, I had a telephone catch up with Manisha which was like speaking with a familiar friend. She checked that my priorities for the shop were still the same as we had discussed at the edit. She carried out a full review of the shops and selected in advance items that she wanted to introduce me to, all of which were ready and waiting in a changing room with welcoming shop assistants who Manisha had engaged with beforehand which made me feel very special. Being someone who has always found clothes shopping traumatic and not wanting to subject anyone to my madness, I have tended to do it on my own which has been lonely. My full day shopping experience with Manisha was so enjoyable, I had fun trying on items I would never have picked for myself and pleasantly surprised about how they looked. Honestly, I have never in my life enjoyed clothes shopping so much. Manisha pushed me to consider alternative options and took on board how I was feeling in the clothes. I came away with some lovely pieces and a few extras after I had left Manisha, which I think she would have been proud of. Honestly, this whole experience was amazing and insightful with so many takeaways for my life – not just about clothes, but also about body confidence and self-esteem. Some people would consider this type of service to be reserved for the wealthy or the frivolous, but I’m an ordinary working-class person who just hasn’t ever got on well with clothes. Manisha treated me with such care, kindness, and respect, I'd recommend her to absolutely everyone regardless of the condition of their wardrobe or size of their pocket. Manisha is true therapy, and I'd say that her service is a life essential for people in a similar position as me!

  I would highly recommend Manisha for any sort of personal style update or wardrobe edit! I was desperate for help going through a mountain of clothes which had built up over the years as I've remained the same size for the last 20 years. It didn't help that the clothing was spread throughout the house. So I got 6 hours with her where the plan was to spend 4 on the wardrobe edit and 2 on personal shopping. Communication ahead of the session was great with an initial phone call followed by a clever questionnaire (make sure you think well about the adjectives to describe your current and desired style!) with photos and I was asked to share Pinterest boards in advance to give her an idea of my style aspirations. I was told to get the clothes all into one room and organise into piles like "tops, bottoms, shoes, bags, dresses". On the day, Manisha, who is absolutely lovely, arrived looking glam with her own pop-up clothes rack which proved invaluable for organising clothes. We worked flat out for 4 hours sorting through heaps of clothing. We decided I don't really need to buy anything special as I had too many statement pieces in my wardrobe already, so I was sent a shopping list for basics like nude flats, lace camis, and plain t-shirts. Manisha was totally flexible in converting the last 2 hours into a wardobe edit rather than a personal shop, in this situation, as that was clearly what I needed. This was arranged for some days later after I'd picked up a few of the basics she's suggested, meaning we could work on incorporating these new items. During the time we spent together Manisha styled about 90 outfits (all now on my phone in an "outfits" folder I scan most mornings before getting dressed!) and filled two black bags to take to the charity shop. What's more, I really learnt during the session what clothes proportions, colours and sleeve lengths suit me best & new ways of putting separates together, which makes creating my own outfits a breeze. I also got a real confidence boost from the pics she took as I look quite good in some of them - haha! I can wholeheartedly recommend Stylebymanisha for any wardrobe edit/personal stylist services you may require! I have no doubt it will save me money over time as I won't buy things that don't suit me going forward!

  Manisha did an amazing job styling me. I have already received so many compliments on my outfits. I requested a minimalistic capsule wardrobe and she absolutely hit my brief spot on. She introduced me to items that I would never have considered before and taught me lots about styling myself. I feel very confident and prepared for the summer. Thank you, Manisha, for an amazing day out. My mum and I loved it, we could see that you had spent lots of time and effort preparing for our shop and really appreciated it.
