    It is an easy walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras International Station. We got off the Eurostar with our rolling carry on luggage and were there very quickly. The is a park with a tennis court in front of the building. We did have to carry the bags up some stairs. The rooms are furnished with an electric water kettle, breakfast teas and instant coffee. There are cups, silverware, cookware, dishes, two small refrigerators, microwave, stove, oven, and a sink to wash the dishes. The bed was nice. The TV remote didn't work. I got a replacement from the front desk but it never worked. So we opened the window and looked out at the garden in the back and listened to the birds sing while we had coffee. The was light coming from under the door and around the window shade. If you like a completely dark room to sleep bring a sleep mask. There was a hair dyer and toiletries. The showerhead had gunk built up on it but everything thing else was clean. There are security cameras outside every room in the hall and the front desk is open 24 hours a day.

    We stayed here on three seperate occasions during our holiday in the Uk. I booked because of the close proximity to Euston, St Pancras & Kings Cross stations and also the free laundry. The building is older and has its owns quirks and charms, lots of stairs which didn’t bother us as we had small suitcases . I loved how close you are to everything yet it’s so peaceful and quiet with sweet chirping birds. I feel you get what you pay for and staff were always helpful and polite. If you need luxury don’t stay here. But we found it to be comfortable, cozy and perfect for our needs.

    I was very disappointed with my stay and the hotel's customer service. After forgetting a jacket from a designer collection (a gift that is very dear to me) in the wardrobe of the room when I checked out, it was not found by the hotel, nor by the cleaning staff.
